EDITING AN EXISTING PRODUCT
Although you can change your product details at any time, the changes can affect your reports.
TOP TIP: When making changes on your website, first retract the product from your website to ensure customers do not get confused. For example, should you change the name while the product is in a customer's basket, they may be confused because it is not the same product that they chose. Therefore if you retract, make changes, then re-publish once you are happy with all changes, it limits any confusion.
From the Nimbl Portal, under the STORE tab, click on PRODUCTS to open the drop down and click on the OVERVIEW button
Your product list will appear with all the products you have added to the database (excluding archived products). Click on the VIEW button.
Under the respective tabs, DESCRIPTION, PRICING, INVENTORY, SHIPPING & PRODUCT IMAGES, you can amend the details. (Mandatory fields (underlined in pink) are the following: The Title, Description, Price and the Shipping details.)
Once you have completed all fields and are happy to continue, click on the SAVE CHANGES button to update your product on the DATABASE.
TIP: PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT ALL CHANGES ARE CORRECT BEFORE CLICKING ON THE SAVE CHANGES BUTTON. Once you have clicked on the button, you will manually have to amend anything again.
Should you realize that you made a mistake and that the information should not actually be updated, you can use the DISCARD CHANGES button or just click on the PRODUCTS link in the menu to ensure no changes are made. This will only work before you click on the SAVE CHANGES button.
