Running a blog is an opportunity to generate more store traffic. Posts that contain SEO keywords and contain useful information for consumers are likely to rank high in search engine results. Blog posts that rank well and encourage people to visit your site are a stepping stone to people visiting your product pages and completing purchases.
From the Nimbl Portal, under the STORE tab, click on MY SHOP to open the drop down and click on the SHOP PAGES button.
NEXT TO BLOG, click on the EDIT button.
ACTIVATING / DEACTIVATING YOUR BLOG
Your blog is by default ACTIVE. What this means is that it will appear as a menu option on your website's main menu. If you do not want a blog, click on the DEACTIVATE BLOG button.
If your blog is inactive and you want to change it to ACTIVE, click on the ACTIVATE BLOG button.
SHOWING A SNIPPET OF YOUR BLOG ON THE HOME PAGE
Your snippet is by default ACTIVE. What this means is that a snippet will appear on your website’s home page. If you do not want a snippet, click on the DEACTIVATE BLOG ON HOME PAGE button.
If your snippet is inactive and you want to change it to ACTIVE, click on the ACTIVATE BLOG ON HOME PAGE button.
(Your blog needs to be active for the snippet to appear on homepage)
ADDING A NEW BLOG
Click on the ADD NEW BLOG button.
TITLE: The title is the name of your blog entry.
BANNER: You can add a banner to the page. Choose to upload your own image or choose from the library.
TOP TIP: The recommended size for banners is 2000(W) x 400(H) pixels. Maximum file size is 200KB.
DESCRIPTION: Enter the text for the page > Click on the SAVE BLOG button.
Now you can view and edit your blog (if necessary). Click on the VIEW button.
